TOTD 31/08/09: The Vectroid by Big Fluff

The Vectroid t-shirt by Big FluffTodays TOTD is The Vectroid by London based brand Big Fluff. The tee is very simple, and perhaps the price (£30!) isn't justified by the design, but we're really liking the minimalistic neon vibe the tee is giving off. Check it out over at Big Fluff now.

TOTD 29/08/09: Vote For Lois by Unreal Cotton

Family Guy t-shirtOkay, so this one's a little out of the norm for us; we don't usually feature novelty tees - but, considering ourselves Family Guy connoisseurs, we decided we would today. UnrealCotton make t-shirts which tie in with fictional worlds and brands, ie. Family Guy and The Simpsons. This t-shirt is from the 2007 Quahog elections, in which Lois is a candidate - Peter creates several promotional t-shirts including this one which reads "Vote For Lois, unless you're queer. No, wait, even if you're queer. No Jews, though. Okay, Jews."

Selling for around £15, you can check this tee out over at Unreal Cotton.

TOTD 28/08/09: Attack of the Cupcakes by Cherry Sauce

Cherry Sauce t-shirt of the dayOh Cherry Sauce, where have you been all our lives?! We're really digging this t-shirt from the wicked indie brand Cherry Sauce. Usually we're not fans of the all over illustrations like seen here, but this brand has pulled it off perfectly - everything from the drawing style to the colours used sit cool with us.

"So to you reading this, we don't care which scene you come from, your race, weight, or gender. We are here to have fun regardless. Whether you wear our products or not we wish you the best and encourage you to live like you're covered in cherry sauce."

Sounds awesome to us! We're pretty drawn to everythingabout this brand, from the super slick website, to the ethos, to the colours in the logo. Check the t-shirt out at the Cherry Sauce store, or take a look at their website here.

All eyes on: Eio Clothing / Rakes & Strays

Eio clothing t-shirtYou may remember the last 'all eyes on' feature we did with Ben Thomas of Kneedeepinsleep - an indie clothing company. Here we're continuing the 'all eyes on' series with an interview with James Lee, the creative director of both ExcessIsOk and Rakes & Strays. I'm sure you've all at least heard of - if not are familiar with - Eio clothing; they're a cutting edge, limited edition brand which has been worn by the likes of Calvin Harris, The Klaxons and Cansei De Ser Sexy. And they've recently gifted the fashion world with a sister brand - Rakes & Strays.

Read the interview after the break!

TOTD 18/08/09: Brazil by FACADE

FACADE clothing tee of the dayTodays tee of the day is the awesome Brazil tee by FACADE clothing. We're diggin' the modern art style isometric-ish illustration of Sao Paulo - shaded so that it almost emerges from the tee in 3d space. Printed on a white v-neck which looks like a good fit, the tee is available now for about £18 (yes, it's one of the pricer tees we've featured).

TOTD 18/08/09: Heavens Below by Rakes & Strays

rakes & strays t-shirtWow, second tee of the day for Rakes & Strays. We have to admit, we are rather fond of how these tee's look and fit, and a few of the designs out in the debut line really take our fancy. Second to dandelions is 'Heavens Below' - which we think'd be perfect without the text at the top right - but is still pretty sweet as it is. Still pricey at £30 (ouch!), the t-shirt is almost out of stock so you better hurry up and get your hands on it now.

Reprint lust: Isometric by EIO

excess is ok isometric t-shirtOhhhhh, how we love this tee from EIO clothing. Everything from the green on white to the funky shapes, we want to be wearing it right now. Sadly life isn't always fair and, alas, this is one such occasion. Much to our disdain this design is only available in size large - and considering EIO's business model (limited edition lines of shirts) we doubt that it'll ever be available again. TOTD 15/08/09: Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing by Random Objects

random objects totdTodays t-shirt of the day is Wolf in Sheep's Clothing by Random objects. We're really liking this teem, which is inspired by an Aesops Fable:

This old Aesop's Fable, about a clever wolf disguising himself as a sheep to get closer to his unsuspecting prey, has become a common metaphor warning that appearances can be deceptive.
Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing because... he is watching you!

The shirt is printed on American Apparel and costs just £12, you can pick it up at the Random Objects web store here.

TOTD 14/08/09: Space Pyramids by Validus Apparel

validus apparel totdWe've only just seen the site of clothing brand Validus Apparel, but we're already in love! In fact, so much so that we're making our favourite Validus tee - Space Pyramids - TOTD for the 14th of August 2009. As the store so accurately puts it:

What could be better than pyramids in space? Nothing.

We couldn't agree more. This tee is awesome, and has a price to match at a wicked £10. Check it out over at the Validus Apparel store.
