Reprint lust: Isometric by EIO

excess is ok isometric t-shirtOhhhhh, how we love this tee from EIO clothing. Everything from the green on white to the funky shapes, we want to be wearing it right now. Sadly life isn't always fair and, alas, this is one such occasion. Much to our disdain this design is only available in size large - and considering EIO's business model (limited edition lines of shirts) we doubt that it'll ever be available again. TOTD 15/08/09: Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing by Random Objects

random objects totdTodays t-shirt of the day is Wolf in Sheep's Clothing by Random objects. We're really liking this teem, which is inspired by an Aesops Fable:

This old Aesop's Fable, about a clever wolf disguising himself as a sheep to get closer to his unsuspecting prey, has become a common metaphor warning that appearances can be deceptive.
Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing because... he is watching you!

The shirt is printed on American Apparel and costs just £12, you can pick it up at the Random Objects web store here.

TOTD 14/08/09: Space Pyramids by Validus Apparel

validus apparel totdWe've only just seen the site of clothing brand Validus Apparel, but we're already in love! In fact, so much so that we're making our favourite Validus tee - Space Pyramids - TOTD for the 14th of August 2009. As the store so accurately puts it:

What could be better than pyramids in space? Nothing.

We couldn't agree more. This tee is awesome, and has a price to match at a wicked £10. Check it out over at the Validus Apparel store.

New Thread Rave features!

Thread RaveWow, what a relief! After playing around with Thread Rave today, we've brought the next stage in our plans for the site to fruition. You may recall our news & progress post from earlier this month, which spoke about  where we wanted to take Thread Rave; a more social bookmarking orientated site (like digg.com) which allowed users to promote (hint: find, share and promote clothes online) features they like.

In fact, this is the reasoning behind Thread Rave's name. Rave can be defined as "to talk wildly, as in delirium." I'm sure you can start to see how our naming ties in with our intentions for the site. And now you, our lovely readers, can start to 'rave' yourselves. Do you see that greyed out heart icon over to the left of every post, under the date? When you click it you're registering your 'rave' - telling us how much you love that particular t-shirt, post or feature. The most popular items are then displayed in a 3x2 matrix all the way at the top of the page. It's easy, just give it a click and you're 'rave' will be counted!

That's all for now, stay tuned for more new features coming soon, and please get raving (:

ingredients t-shirt by Roper at MySotiWe're loving this tee from designer 'Roper' over at MySoti. The typography is hot and we dig the whole idea ... the barcode is awesome! At £15 the shirt has the price to go with it. Available in white, yellow, green and grey (personally white's the only way to go) and guys and girls American Apparel (as well as Alstyle for guys which we don't really like, and Bella for girls which we pefer to AA).

TOTD 12/08/09: And then I woke up by Ugmonk

ugmonk and then I woke up t-shirtDreaming in New York CityTodays tee of the day - perhaps a little late - is 'And then I woke up' from Ugmonk. We're big fans of Ugmonks design style; minimalistic, elegant typographic-centric pieces. 'And then I woke up' seems to click with something very meaningful; something we're all aware of...just only subconsciously. From "Are you awake, Neo?" to the cult phenomena of 11:11, this tee seems eerily significant. If only we knew why. About £12 at the Ugmonk store.

410BC look book now up

thumbnail[1]Whereas we might not be enormous fans of the new 410BC line, we do like a few of the designs available. The folks at 410BC just put a look book for the new line up on their site which shows off their designs nicely - so you're advised to take a look!

TOTD 11/08/09: Dandelions by Rakes & Strays

Dandelion-Rebel[1]Okay...so we didn't exactly rate their branding when we first wrote about Rakes & Strays at launch, but that doesn't mean this blog hates the EIO misfit forever. In fact, our tee of the day for the 11th August is 'Dandelions' by Rakes & Strays...this shirt looks completely sweet and like it's a very nice fit. In fact, if it wasn't so pricey (30 whole pounds!) then we'd be wearing it right now. If that price is no-sweat for you, then take a look at it at the Rakes & Strays online store.

Graniph Design Awards winners announced!

graniph design awards 2009The winners of the 2009 Graniph Design Awards have just been announced over at their website, and are now available to purchase online. Whereas we must admit we're not great fans of most of the winning designs, we are rather fond of silver prize winner Joao Carneiro Neto's design. The colourful lightning bolts are strikingly similar to something we've seen on Design By Humans, but nonetheless make for a very nice tee which is available for around £13 (with shipping on top for about £8). Take a look at the winners gallery here, where there are also links to purchase each t-shirt (some are yet to be released).
